Ingredients
- 2 Cup Reefy Atta
- 1 Cup ground sugar
- 20gm edible gum resin
- 10-12 almonds
- 10-12 cashew nuts
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup pistachios
- 1/2 cup ghee
Recipe
Break edible gum resin into pieces for deep frying. Do not make very small pieces or powder it. Heat ghee in a pan. Put in the broken gum resin pieces into it and deep fry on medium heat. Take out the fried pieses and keep it aside to allow it to cool down to room temperature. Now in a heavy bottomed pan, put Atta and ghee. Put the pan on low heat and stir the ingredients well so that they mix together. Stir the mixture continuously for about 20-30 minutes till the flour turns brown. Now take the pan off from the flame and allow it to cool. Add ground sugar to the mixture and mix well. With hands, crush the gum which was deep fried earlier and add it to the mixture. Also add finely cut pieces of almonds, cashew nuts, raisins and mix well. Make ladoos from the mixture by pressing and shaping it between your hands while the mixture is still warm. Garnish ladoos with finely cut pieces of dry fruits. Allow it to cool fully before storing in an airtight container.
